Twistmas Tree

Description

This is a 3D-printed chistmas tree fidget. It consists of 3 components (tree bottom, tree top, christmas star topper) that I printed individually with different coloured PLA. The idea of the fidget design is that you can de- and re-assemble the parts and that this feels nice with the littlw twist motion in the design. I am pleased with how the object looks but not so much with how it works as a fidget. Trying it out, I find it a bit tricky to slot and the slotting movement is not as smooth as I would like it to be. Maybe it would work better with a higher printing resolution.

Materials & Tools

Design found on Makerworld and printed via Bambu app on my personal BambuLab A1 printer in 3 print jobs (1 component per print). I used 3 diffent PLA filaments: - Tree bottom: PolyTerra "forest green" - Tree top: PolyTerra "cotton white" - Star: BambuLab BasicPLA golden
