Pill Box

Description

This is a pill box/organiser in a pretty sliding design that I printed to help me manage my increasing amount of medication. It consists of two parts: 1) a tray with labelled compartments for each weekday 2) a textured cover to keep the pills contained and protected There are loads of 3D models for pill boxes online and as someone who jsutstarts using one it was a bit tricky to find a design that I like and that I find practical for my lifestyle. I liked this design because it has a handy size to carry around with me in my handbag. And also because it looks prettier than most of the other designs I saw.

Materials & Tools

I printed this on my personal 3D printer (Bambu A1). The tray is printed with PolyTerra PLA "cotton white" and the cover with a clour-changing Creality rainbow PLA. I used the standard printing profile provided by the designer in two printing sessions: 1) original-slim-insters: The tray was printed flat. 2) original-slim-covers: Selecting only the plate with my chosen texture. The cover was printed upright which hence took longer to print. I am very satisfied with this object and I would recommend the design to other pill takers :)
